thriston briscoe
For those who don’t know me, my name is Thriston Briscoe, and I am a coach and trainer. Here’s a little backstory on my playing career. I played for several prestigious teams, including HBC, Red Bulls Regional Development Schools (RDS), Red Bulls Academy, Albertson Academy, NYCFC Academy, Gottschee Academy, the Jamaican National Team, St. Francis College, and Stilon Gorzow. Throughout my career, I also had the opportunity to trial with and receive preseason invites from notable clubs such as Sheffield United Academy in England, ASD Seravezza in Italy, Gualaceo SC in Ecuador, Jagiellonia Białystok and Nowy Targ in Poland, as well as Hartford Athletic and FC Cincinnati 2 in the USA.
However, my journey was not without its challenges. I endured two major surgeries—one for a fractured ankle with torn ligaments in my left foot and another for a ruptured Achilles in my right foot. These injuries cost me opportunities to sign with clubs, but I don’t share this for sympathy. Instead, I want to emphasize that my experiences have given me deep knowledge of the game, both on and off the field.
My ultimate goal is to help kids reach the level I was at—and beyond—while also teaching them valuable life lessons through the beautiful game of fútbol. Every time I was on the verge of taking the next step in my playing career, God showed me He had different plans, and that’s how coaching and training found me. Now, I’m dedicated to guiding the next generation of players to achieve greatness, both in their sport and in life. Let’s work together to make that happen!

I played at Loyola University Maryland, where I earned midfielder of the year 3 years in a row
and all American for my last two years in college. I then got drafted by New York Red Bulls and
played on the second team, from there I played at Loudoun United, and Tormenta FC.
The reason I want to get into training kids is I have a strong belief that there is so much talent in
this country. The numerous players that I’ve seen that have not reached their potential is
something that frustrates me because I was a player who was lacking the “natural talent” some
kids had. When the kids around me took advantage of their natural ability it felt like they were
disrespecting the sport. That inspired me to want to be the one who takes the kids that have the
ability and make them into players that not only have ability but add something to their game
which is that hunger, drive and fitness.

Brian Saramago
Played for New Hyde Park, BW Gottschee, and NYRB at the youth level, as well as represented the USYNT at the u-17 & u-19 level.
Played D1 at Loyola University Maryland.
Played Professionally for NK Rudar Velenje in Slovenia and BSAD in Portugal.
The reason why I want to be a coach is to help the younger generation of footballers improve their game in order to help them reach their ultimate goals, whether that be professional, collegiate, or high school level.

Sydney Moore
Growing up on Long Island, I played club soccer for SUSA. I played four years at Boston College and then played my graduate year at St. John’s University due to an extra year of eligibility from Covid. I work to be a role model for young female soccer players because it wasn’t until college that I finally had female soccer players in my life to look up to, learning and growing from my older teammates. I hope to be someone that they can see themselves in, learn from, and then work to be even better than me. I train both girls and boys not only because I love the game but because I want to share the knowledge that I’ve gained playing in the ACC and in Division I soccer, both athletically and personally. The soccer community is amazing and I hope to keep making that community better through our youth players.

Gabriel Fernandes
Im a former soccer player with a strong background in both youth and collegiate soccer. I played for renowned youth clubs Met Oval and B.W. Gottschee before going on to Stony Brook University, where I was a Division 1 soccer player and team captain. My experiences on the field have given me a deep understanding of the game and a passion for leadership, both on and off the pitch.
I want to continue coaching soccer for a few reasons: to inspire and mentor the next generation of players, to create an environment where they can build confidence and teamwork, and to share my love for the game by helping others achieve their full potential.

Marcus Peterkin
2017-19 Top Drawer Soccer #1 Ranked U/19 Goalkeeper in NY. Played in the USSDA with B.W. Gottschee (2015-2018), and PDA (2018-19). Played D1 college soccer at UCONN (2019-2022). I became a coach to share the passion of the game with the youth. To inspire them to be the best they can each and every day.
